A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and frontline 2027 gubernatorial aspirant, Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, Esq., has paid tribute to the late Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, revered elder statesman and national leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, who passed away at the age of 100.
Agbaje described Pa Fasoranti as a respected patriarch whose life was defined by wisdom, integrity and selfless service, noting that his commitment to the development of Yorubaland and Nigeria made him a significant figure in the nation’s socio-political history.
He noted that the late elder statesman’s long years of service and dedication to the Yoruba people represented a legacy that would continue to inspire future generations, particularly in the areas of principled leadership, public service and the pursuit of justice and good governance.
Agbaje also extended his condolences to the Fasoranti family, the people of Akure, the Afenifere family and the entire Yoruba nation over the loss of the centenarian, whose passing marks the end of a remarkable chapter in the history of Yoruba leadership.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant the deceased eternal rest and give his family, associates and admirers the strength to bear the loss.
