Father’s Day: Barr Akeem Agbaje Celebrates Fathers as Pillars of Family and Society


Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for the 2027 election, has extended warm greetings to fathers across Oyo State, Nigeria, and beyond on the occasion of Father's Day, acknowledging their invaluable roles in nurturing families and shaping society.

‎In a message commemorating the occasion, Agbaje described fathers as pillars of strength, guidance, and responsibility whose sacrifices often go unnoticed but whose impacts are felt across generations.

‎He noted that beyond providing for their families, fathers play critical roles in instilling values, discipline, character, and resilience in their children, thereby contributing to the development of stable homes and a better society.

‎“Today, we celebrate fathers whose sacrifices often go unseen but whose impacts last a lifetime. Through their love, commitment, hard work, and sense of responsibility, they provide support, guidance, and hope for their families. Their contributions deserve recognition and appreciation.”

‎The APC chieftain urged fathers to remain steadfast in their responsibilities while continuing to serve as positive examples for younger generations, emphasizing the importance of strong family values in nation-building.

‎“I salute all fathers for their sacrifices, dedication, and unwavering commitment to their families. I pray that Almighty Allah grants them good health, strength, wisdom, and abundant blessings. *TESLIM FOLARIN IS A WRONG AND A BAD CHOICE TO LEAD OUR RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE IN OYO STATE APC

When the cause of a problem and division in the party claims to have been saddled with the responsibility of reconciliation in out party, it leads to predictable failed attempt and would only compound the crisis. As a critical part of those who created the problem in the first place, claiming  to want to reconcile raises a lot of red flags, such as biased decision-making, lack of trust, vendetta, and ultimately, superficial solutions or conclusions.  Teslim Folarin is naturally bereaved of transparency and integrity, being the progenitor of our party division right from when he joined the party; he is a complete misfit, a square peg in a round hole, and a wrong choice to lead a holistic and meaningful reconciliatory move for the party. It's no more news that Sen Teslim Kolawole Folarin met with the president and took pictures with him which has been flying around on Social media space.  After the said  meeting between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen Teslim Folarin, he came out to claim that the president had given him the mandate to go back to Oyo state and reposition the party. He came saying this, being his usual subtle approach and "JAGBA" tactics, which we all know is a disguise, because this has become a case of "Once beaten, twice shy".  For us to avoid being railroaded once again, Sen Teslim Folarin will need to give us written proof of his assignment from the president because we know that he had already set up a committee last week Thursday that will usurp the power of the state executive committee.
