Eid-el-Kabir: Barr Agbaje Felicitates Muslim Ummah, Calls for Unity and Selfless Service to Humanity

Barr. Akeem Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and two-term governorship aspirant in Oyo State, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a goodwill message, Barr. Agbaje described Eid-el-Kabir as a deeply spiritual period that calls for total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, while emphasizing sacrifice, selfless service, and coexistence among all people.

“Eid-el-Kabir commemorates the profound faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to Almighty Allah. It is a reminder that our devotion must manifest in selfless service to God and humanity, as well as in our commitment to peaceful living with one another.”

Barr. Agbaje urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of patience, generosity, and compassion, especially during this solemn period. He further encouraged residents of Oyo State to work together, regardless of religious or ethnic differences, in building a just and inclusive society.

“At a time when our nation continues to navigate various social and economic challenges, it is imperative that we embrace the spirit of unity and sacrifice. Only through collective effort, anchored in faith and mutual respect, can we build a better Oyo State and a stronger Nigeria.”

He prayed for peace and prosperity across the land and asked Almighty Allah to accept the worship and sacrifices of the faithful, grant them His mercy, and bless Nigeria with enduring stability and growth.

“May this Eid inspire greater harmony in our homes and communities, and may it strengthen our resolve to serve one another with sincerity and love.”
