Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC) Professor Adeolu Akande has expressed sadness over the death of Hon. Kehinde Subair, a former Majority Leader in the Oyo State House of Assembly and leader in the All Progressives Congress(APC)

Professor Akande, in a statement released in Abuja,, noted that Hon Subair Kehinde was a devoted member of the Oyo State House of Assembly while he served as the Chief of Staff to Governor Abiola Ajimobi, whose contribution to the success of the administration cannot be dismissed.

As a legislator, Hon Kehinde demonstrated a deep concern for the welfare of the people and the development of Oyo State. He noted that he was very progressive in mind in his contributions to deliberations in the House and was always at the forefront of efforts to ensure a cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government.

"Hon Kehinde was always intellectual in his approach to issues and conscientious in his convictions about government policies.

'His death is a big loss to the APC and the people of Oyo State. The APC will miss him as a bridge builder who was always ready to remove wedges between different caucuses in the party.'.

Professor Akande prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, and he also prayed that God shall be with the family he left behind.
