Former NCC Boss, Adeolu Akande, hails Tinubu over Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway
A former chairman of the Nigerian Telecommunications Commissions (NCC) and Professor of Political Science, Adeolu Akande, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubure-awarding the contract for the construction of the Oyo-Ogbomoso Road.
Akande described the Tinubu administration as responsible and responsive to the plight of people, noting how the arterial Oyo-Ogbomoso Road is important to the vast majority of North-South travellers.
The contract for the completion of the road was awarded at the Federal Executive Council meeting during the week.
Prof Akande, who noted that the termination of the contract, which has dragged on for years by President Tinubu and its prompt re-award were indications that the President’s vision to fix infrastructure deficit across the country is well on course.
He added that the completion of the all-important road will have far-reaching effects on millions of travellers and their businesses, stating that Renewed Hope Agenda of the President has culminated into several positive developments for the country.
He noted that the road will serve to improve the economic life of citizens in the Oke -Ogun/Ogbomosho axis of Oyo State.
