New Dawn in Oyo, Agbaje Congratulates Alaafin of Oyo



Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Barrister Akeem Agbaje has congratulated the new Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade on his emergence as the 46th Alaafin of Oyo. In the congratulatory message released by his media office, the APC chieftain described the emergence as historic and one that would transform the ancient city for the greater. 


“It is indeed an auspicious moment in the annals of the historic history of Oyo town to witness the crowning of a new Alaafin. It is my prayer that under your reign, Oyo town will experience peace, progress and remarkable development. As a foremost traditional ruler and an epitome of the Yoruba culture, may the Yoruba race continue to wax stronger in your time.


Congratulations, Kabiyesi, k’ade pe l’ori, ki bata pe l’ese, ki irukere oba, d’okini.”

It's no more news that Sen Teslim Kolawole Folarin met with the president and took pictures with him which has been flying around on Social media space.  After the said  meeting between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen Teslim Folarin, he came out to claim that the president had given him the mandate to go back to Oyo state and reposition the party. S enator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, representing Oyo North Senatorial District, has quashed speculation that President Bola Tinubu has endorsed a particular candidate for the 2027 Oyo State Governorship Election. While putting the records straight, Buhari revealed that Tinubu has not endorsed any candidate for the election, emphasized that the APC’s process for selecting candidates will be fair, transparent, and merit-based.
